The application is used to flash the BIOS image of your Asus notebook. This should be used only when you have problems with the device because a wrong flash could simply render your laptop useless.

I recommend removing it and let a technician use it for when you have problems. Use the standard removal way through Uninstall a Program from Control Panel.

WinFlash is a freeware small application developed by ASUSTeK Computer. It was designed especially for ASUS notebook owners to help them to update BIOS. On the official web page you can find the user manual. Use this program to update your BIOS only if it is absolutely necessary because updating BIOS is potentially risky.

WinFlash 2.15 is an old version and it's not available anymore. ASUS provides only WinFlash 2.30.1 version and above. You can download and install it from ASUS download page. Select your operating system and choose the desired WinFlash version.
